We provide cleaning, shopping, meal preparation, social visits and many other services to elderly clients who live in their own homes. 90% of the work is domestic cleaning.

All positions are casual; we do not guarantee any amount of hours each week due to the nature of this industry.
We do however try (where possible) to give each employee up to and exceeding 15 plus hours per week, usually starting off with a few hours then endeavouring to build up the hours over the following weeks.

What's involved?

Duties will include light house cleaning e.g. changing bed linen, washing, vacuuming and bathroom cleaning, and/or assistance with shopping and bill paying doctors visits, etc., and perhaps( if approved by the agency) some light meal preparation, making a sandwich or boiling an egg. Most jobs will be 1 ½ - 2 hours per week, fortnight or month.

Days - times and hours:

As most of our work is set around elderly clients living in their own homes, we are looking for people who will be able to commit to set days and times during the period Monday to Friday 9am – 3 pm

The pay:

Employment is under our Collective Workplace Agreement 2007-2012. Rates of pay are listed in our employment pack.

Requirements

The Aged Care Act 2000 requires you to provide a current and valid criminal check. You can provide this or we can organize one for you. A statutory declaration must be completed to cover the period of employment whilst the criminal check is being processed by the Australian Federal Police. If you have a criminal record you cannot work in aged care.
A current NSW driver’s license is required; and a happy can do attitude.
